Callan Martinez is an Attorney practicing civil litigation and prolitical consultant. She has served in the City of Seattle Attorney’s Office, Criminal Division and was a law clerk with the Immigration Law and Litigation Group. During law school she was awarded the prestigious HOPE law fellowship to work with a women’s rights nonprofit organization in the Middle East. She worked with local Kuwaiti women’s rights activists helping to harness the power of grassroots organizing for gender equality. Prior to practicing law, she began her career in politics working in all levels of democratic and progressive campaigns large and small in numerous states across the country. She served as the ED of the Democratic Party of New Mexico from 2013-2014 and most recently worked as the campaign manager for a congressional race in the state of Washington. She has her Bachelors in Philosophy from Whittier College and earned her JD from the University of Miami Law School.
